Welcome to Big Island Solutions!
This web site is a place where people living on the Big Island of Hawaii can record their ideas and pass on information regarding solutions to a variety of Big Island concerns. We can address specific issues, such as air and water quality, recycling, sustainable medicine, renewable energy, organic farming, emergency preparedness, etc. Whatever the concern, we can develop solutions.
Big Island Solutions is a very simple WordPress web log. It is a blog. When information is posted online in a blog format, it becomes much easier for people to find the information. It will show up in Google, Yahoo Search, and MSN search. People will be able to find your information using the search engines they are familiar with.
Big Island Solutions will help you share your information so that it can more readily be found. Articles are submitted by sending an e-mail to DeeAnneDomnick@gmail.com. Dee Anne or other volunteers online will post the articles for you in the Big Island Solutions blog. All you need to be able to do is write an e-mail. Once it is in the blog, it will be easy for searchers to find.
Community members can add their comments to the article. It is simple to leave comments as each article is followed by a box for a message and a button that says, ’send’. People can write down their comments, place minutes from meetings, create action items, plan the next meeting, etc.
We have alot to accomplish. This web-site can help keep people on the same page. Let’s keep it positive and solution-oriented!
